Recommended for Ages: 16+

ALL skill levels welcome. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

All skill levels welcome for this Open Studio Pottery Wheel Throwing Class. Learn how to throw pots on a wheel, practice skill development and form. Explore fundamental techniques of throwing cylinder shapes, bowls, and plates. Take this class as many times as you like to gain proficiency. If you have experience on the wheel, refine your technique and develop your personal style. Classes include individual and group instruction by master potter Chris Carson.

Fire and Glazing times TBD monthly

Per pot glaze & fire fee:

$5/non-members

$3 /members

***There are ONLY 6 wheels (spots) available per class. When Tuesday fills up, a Thursday class may open for overflow***

Drop-In Tickets will be available if space allows.

Drop-In/1 Class Rate: $35

We respectfully ask anyone who is symptomatic to please not visit the Art Center.

If for any reason JAC is unable to hold classes in-person we will host virtual and/or refund.
