Live Music Photography Workshop

Join expert concert photographer Matt Lief Anderson for this two day, deep-dive into the world of live music photography! Matt's clients include Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Vice, Apple Music, and Billboard. He's photographed dozens of festivals including Coachella, Primavera, Pitchfork Music Festival, SXSW, and Lollapalooza. See Matt's work here: www.mattliefanderson.com 

Begin with an in-depth exploration of the live music photography genre May 6th in classroom in the JAC basement co-work classroom from 4-8pm, then head out to shoot live music around the downtown Alton music scene! 

Matt will accompany students to provide on-the-spot feedback. 

You'll then reconvene the second day back at JAC to share shots, critique, and get further guidance on your work. 

Schedule:

May 6th 

4pm-8pm classroom work; basement entrance behind building

8-9pm break for travel/dinner

9pm-??? shooting around downtown Alton's live music scene

May 7th

4pm-6:30 pm classroom for share & feedback session; basement entrance behind building
