About Daniel Price:
Daniel is a potter from Cape Girardeau Missouri who attended SIUE for his Bachelors of Fine Arts in ceramics. In his time in under-grad he has developed his skills to express himself through pottery. Going through a strong ceramics program, Daniel learned about kiln building and maintenance, glaze chemistry and numerous ways to include the vessel in his life. His main studio practice utilizes the wheel to create simple everyday pots, exploring form and and design, along with his experience with atmospheric firings such as Wood, Soda, and Salt firings to achieve desired results while paying homage to traditional ceramics. Today Daniel continues his own studio practice and shares that experience with others to help express one's self through clay.
