Interior Views by Jeffrey Sass

A series of unconventional self portraits that reveal the inner working of an artistic mind, shown through symbolic images. Comprised of 18 pieces that show the joys and frustrations of a working artist trying to create meaningful art, the show began with a question, "Why do I use these same objects in my work?" The work answers that question in stark detail. In between the framed work there will be a trail of notes, mistakes and half resolved works that lead the viewer through the process of conceptualizing an art show.
