Later this summer, Jason Webley is bringing, “FLOTSAM!”, a floating river circus that will be traveling down the Mississippi River this Summer 2023 giving free performances for crowds on the shore from Minneapolis to St. Louis. Come spend a night with Jason and some great local artists to help raise some funds and excitement for the tour.

Accordion troubadour, Jason Webley began his music career in 1998 howling on street corners and music festivals in Seattle. He quickly developed a loyal cult following and became known for his compelling stage presence, whimsical stories and interactive stage productions. Armed with his squeezebox, beat-up parlor guitar, and porkpie hat, Webley has performed in over forty countries. He’s shared the stage with The Avett Brothers, The Dresden Dolls, and Neil Gaiman, and has worked extensively with friends such as composer/bassist Jherek Bischoff and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.

Webley has released five albums on his own Eleven Records label, as well as numerous collaborations, including the 2010 album “Evelyn Evelyn” with Dresden Dolls singer, Amanda Palmer. In recent years, Webley has kept a lower profile, but new listeners continue to discover his music through his involvement with the Welcome to Night Vale podcast, and his continued work with Amanda Palmer.

For 2023, "FLOTSAM!" is gearing up for our biggest tour yet - a six or seven week journey down the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to St Louis. If you know folks who live in any of the towns along the Upper Mississippi, please get in touch! We're always looking to connect with local artists and community. If you'd like to support our work, you can Venmo a donation to @rivercircus
