Natural Light Film Portraits for Beginners
Learn the basics of shooting film in this three week progressive class!
Learn how to capture exceptional portraits outdoors with master photographer Jeff Sass. This class focuses on portraiture technique with film. Take turns being the subject and the shooter- so everyone gets a chance to experience a portrait session from the point of view of the photographer and the model. NO photography or film experience is necessary to take this class.
Want to learn how to develop the images you take during this class? Can be taken concurrently with Darkroom 101- Novice.

Jacoby Arts Center Darkroom Studio- Main Level (enter through Broadway entrance)
Taught by Jeff Sass
$60 per 3 week session
Required for class: SLR film camera and (2) 100 ISO film rolls. Ilford FP4 recommended. Students are responsible for film processing if not enrolled in Darkroom 101. *If you do not have a film camera for this class please email printsofdarkness@jacobyartscenter.org to arrange to borrow one. LIMITED NUMBER OF CAMERAS AVAILABLE so register early if you need to borrow one!
