Enjoy gentle yoga followed by a Chinese Wind Gong Meditation. The sound waves from the Gong interrupt the thought waves of the mind and can have a calming effect on the nervous system.

 

This class is a chance to practice yoga amongst inspiring local artwork and build community with like-minded individuals.

Use the art center's main entrance.

YogArt Instructor

Samantha  Burton is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga instructor and received her 200 hour training from West-East Natural Healing in the spring of 2011.

 

She has trained with "Off the Mat, Into the World", a non-profit social justice organization headed by Seane Corn, Hala Kouri and Suzanne Sterling. In the fall of 2017, she received certification in Accessible Yoga with Jivana Heyman. Her most recent trainings were with Diane Bondy and Amber Karnes on body positivity and yoga for larger bodies.

With almost ten years teaching experience, she specializes in Restorative Yoga, Guided Meditation, Sound Healing, Body positivity, Accessible Yoga and Chakra energy work.
